Musical alphabet
The musical alphabet is extremely important to understand for remembering chord positions and the logic behind what chords sound good together.
Using the keyboard is a great way to visualise this as you can see the notes, and their sharps and flats, clearly in black and white.
Enjoy and remember to ask all your questions in the discussion section of this module. The more question the better this resource will become.
Notes from this lesson:
- There are sharps and flats between all notes EXCEPT between B - C and E - F
- We would generally use the term "sharp" when moving up the guitar neck and "flat" when moving down
- IMPORTANT! You don't have to understand the logic behind it here, just know the A - G cycle
